The three hares connected by the ears forming a triangle and a mandala is an ancient symbol. Paintings dated from 581 to 907 A.D. found in caves in China associate the mandala with Buddhism, and Silk Road traders used it as a symbol of prosperity. Researchers believe the symbol may have come from Persia. In this collection, we will see the hare portrayed as our inner self anxious in the face of the long wait for our rebirth, symbolizing the life, prosperity and perspicacity, as it was always portrayed in fables.
